Mold Design and Modeling
The process of creating our metals begins with the conception of the idea and manual sketches. Then, a 3D model is developed in software such as AutoCAD or Fusion 360, allowing adjustments and detailed visualization. Prototypes are created on 3D printers to test ergonomics and functionality before large-scale production. This phase ensures that the design is efficient and visually appealing, allowing changes before final manufacture.
Raw Material Selection
The materials used for our metals range from brass, stainless steel and bronze, each chosen for their corrosion resistance and durability. Brass is widely preferred for its malleability and long service life, while stainless steel is used in products that require extra resistance to high temperatures and chemical agents. Bronze, although less common, offers a distinctive aesthetic finish and excellent resistance to oxidation.
Gravity Casting
After choosing the material, the gravity casting process is used. The metal is melted and poured into specific molds that will form the main body of the products. This method ensures dimensional accuracy and structural strength. The technique is used for both faucets and showers and other bathroom accessories, ensuring a robust initial finish.
CNC Machining
CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining refines the raw product created in the foundry. High-precision machines cut, drill and shape the parts, ensuring that the dimensions are accurate and that connections, such as threads and fittings, are perfectly adjusted. This process is essential to maintaining uniformity and quality on a large scale.
Polishing and Finishing
Polishing is a critical step in ensuring smooth, flawless surfaces. Using polishing tools, the metal is worked to a shiny or brushed finish, depending on the specified design. This step is important to prepare the product for surface treatments, such as chrome plating, and to improve its aesthetics and functionality.
Surface Treatment
The surfaces of our metals are finished using electroplating, PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), painting and coating processes. Among these, the most durable finishes are electroplating (which includes nickel and chrome plating) and PVD. Nickel plating and chrome plating offer protection against corrosion and provide a refined aesthetic shine. PVD, in addition to ensuring greater resistance, allows for a wide variety of colors and finishes. These processes ensure that the final product acquires shine and durability in the chosen shades, such as Brushed Steel, Chrome, Rose Gold, Matte Black, among others, in addition to offering extra resistance to humidity and daily wear.
Final Assembly
After surface treatment, the products undergo final assembly. During this phase, components such as cartridges, valves, nozzles and hoses are connected, ensuring functionality and correct sealing. The assembly process is meticulous, ensuring that each part is ready for use without the risk of leaks or failures.
Quality control
All products undergo rigorous quality tests, including leak tests, pressure resistance tests, and durability tests. In the case of faucets, showers, and hand showers, water flow tests are performed to ensure that the product functions properly under different pressures. Bathroom accessories, such as brackets, are also tested to ensure that they can withstand weight and daily use.
Storage and Distribution
After quality control, all products are carefully packaged to prevent scratches and damage during transportation. Storage must ensure that accessories, faucets, showers and hygienic showers are protected from moisture and other environmental factors that may compromise quality.
WHICH PIECE TO CHOOSE?
6 ESSENTIAL ASPECTS FOR A SAFE PURCHASE
Installation Space
Are there space restrictions, such as cabinets or shelves, that may limit the installation of the product? Evaluating these conditions ensures a more accurate selection and avoids unforeseen adjustments.
Finishing and Ergonomics
Are the tone and finish you want to choose aligned with the color palette and materials of the room? Ensuring this harmony enhances the project and reinforces the planned visual identity.
Product Dimensions
Have the product measurements been checked to ensure it fits perfectly into the space without the need for future adjustments?
Features
Each product offers solutions designed for different routines and preferences. Evaluate which features make the most sense to make your day-to-day life easier, providing more comfort and practicality in use.
Drilling and Compatibility
Does the sink, countertop or wall already have the necessary holes for this product, or will it be necessary to make adjustments during installation? If adjustments are necessary, will they be possible? This avoids exchanges and returns and speeds up the completion of your project.
Hydraulic Compatibility
Is your plumbing system compatible with both hot and cold water? If only cold water is available, many models, although designed for both temperatures, allow for simple adjustments to work perfectly with only cold water.
